Houses on slopes and long yards
On sloping ground a camera mounted at the usual height either looks at the sky or catches the top of someone's head. What matters here is where it goes and at what tilt, and long climbing drives need cameras chosen for distance rather than for a wide angle. We come, measure the slope and the distances, then settle the positions.

When the internet is weak or absent
On the hills around Baciu the connection is not always reliable, and many people give up on the idea of surveillance believing it will not work without internet. It is not so: the recorder records locally, on its own hard disk, whatever the connection. You only need internet if you want to see the footage from your phone while you are away.

There are two ways to solve it, and we usually do both: a temporary system for the duration of the build, and the cable run through the walls before the finishes, for the permanent system.

Will the system work if my internet drops often?

My yard climbs a slope. Will I see who comes through the gate?
Yes, but with positions and lenses chosen on the ground. On a slope a camera mounted at the usual height either looks at the sky or catches the top of someone's head — which is why we measure the tilt and the distances before quoting, instead of giving a camera count over the phone.
I have a long access drive. How many cameras do I need?
Usually fewer than people expect, but with lenses chosen for distance. A long drive is not covered by wide-angle cameras dotted along it, but by one or two cameras looking down its length. We tell you exactly once we have seen the ground.
I am building a house in Suceagu. When is the right time?
Before the finishes, for the cable. That is when it runs through the walls leaving no trace and costs least, and the cameras go up once the site is finished. If you have materials on the plot, we can also fit a temporary system for the duration of the build.

We tell you honestly once we have looked. On systems a few years old the cabling is usually still good, so only the cameras and recorder get changed, on the existing runs — far less than a system from scratch. We work whatever the make and whoever installed it.
